Good Morning! Listed below are activities similar to the ones we would be doing today at school. We were also planning to work on a special Christmas project today and hold show and tell, which accounts for quite a bit of our time :) We will repeat this week's show and tell theme next Wednesday. I will send a reminder.
MORNING WORK
Complete Letter Kk Review Page. If you can't print the PDF below, go ahead and have your child practice writing 5 capital K's and 5 lowercase k's. Next, let's stand up and sing and move to the Letter K songs! After that, help your child to find things around the house that begin with the letter Kk. .

COUNTING PRACTICE
We like to count out the calendar days in fun ways! We always stand up and move a little! Today we are going to go around the room and each think of a fun action we can do 10 times. Everyone will get a turn, so try to take turns with your child coming up with actions!

MATH
We had some patterning activities planned for today. These can be replicated at home with toys such as cars, Legos, blocks, craft items such as pipe cleaners or colored squares of paper or household items such as silverware, nails and screws, etc. We are currently working on AB patterns which are two items in repetition. Lay out four items (A-B-A-B, example red-blue-red-blue or fork-spoon-fork-spoon). Say the pattern with your child. Ask them what comes next.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM SONGS
We would be practicing for our Christmas Program today as well. Please have your child practice these 2 songs. We have some action poems as well, but unfortunately there aren't links for those. It will help greatly if they practice these.
