Good Morning! Listed below are activities similar to the ones we would be doing today at school. Since it was our first day back in the classroom, it was going to be a review day to help the kids get used to being back in school. Since it was a short day, we didn't want to squeeze too much in :) Next week we will resume with our letters of the week, beginning with letter Mm. We will begin working towards "100's Club" which is just a little incentive to help the kids to be at or near 100 when counting by the end of the year. Our color word next week will be pink. Todays newsletter will be sent home on Monday.
MORNING WORK
Complete Letter Review Page. If you cannot print the page, you can go ahead and have your child write the letters on their own. If they need a little extra help, you can make dotted letters for them to trace. When we're done, let's stand up and sing and move to the Alphabet song!

COUNTING PRACTICE
We are starting a fresh new winter month called January. Today is the 7th day of January. Let's stand up and move a little! Today we are going to act out some winter activities with our counting. Can you roll 7 snowballs? Can you throw 7 snowballs? Can you ice skate? Can you ski?
