Good Morning! Listed below are activities similar to the ones we would be doing today at school.
We will be changing things up a bit for this elearning day, with not as much written work. The only written work will be letter writing and name practice and we are asking that those papers be turned in on Wednesday when students return. There is a science lesson that we will also build upon when we come back to the classroom, so please have your child complete that lesson as well. Login info for the science lesson will be sent via Dojo.

LETTER OF THE WEEK
There are three videos below. Watch the "Letter O Story" video to learn about this week's letter as well as the sound it makes. Next, get up and dance to the "Letter O Song." Please watch the "Write the Letter O" video (up to 0:46 for Capital O only for today. We'll write lowercase o on Wednesday) then complete the Letter O handwriting page. If you can't or don't want to print, you can make your own by writing the letters and having your child trace them. If you take this option, please make at least 10 for your child to trace and then have them practice 5 on their own. Please also have your child practice writing their name 3x.

SCIENCE
We are learning about hibernating animals today! We are using our Scholastic My Big World resources to explore this topic. Clicking the link below will take you to our Scholastic page. Login instructions were sent via Dojo. Once you are logged in, please view the issue with your child. You can read to them, or you can click the Read Aloud button. Doing that will highlight the words as they are read, which is awesome. Next, please have your child view the video, get some movement in with the Dance Break and play the Find the Hibernators game. When you are finished, can you make your own hibernation hiding spot? If you do, send me a picture on Dojo!!!
