EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We are hiring for the positions of 3/4 Teacher's Aide and Substitute Teacher/Aide
The Teacher's Aide position is a part-time position in our 3/4 classes, which are held Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hours are 8:15 am - 3:30pm.
The Substitute Teacher/Aide position is an as-needed, or prn position. We would contact you in the event of a planned or unplanned absence of any staff member. You could be subbing in the 3/4 or 4/5 classes. Hours of operation for the preschool are Monday-Friday 8:15 am - 3:30 pm.
We follow KVSC for all breaks, delays and closings.

A teacher's aide or substitute teacher/aide at Faith Lutheran Preschool must:
Love God
Be warm and nurturing with children
Have experience working with children
Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development
Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times
Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children alone in a classroom
Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities
Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs
Assist children with activities of daily life
Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum and planning daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children
