We are hiring for the positions of 4/5 Teacher's Aide and Substitute Teacher/Aide for the 2021-2022 School Year!

The Teacher's Aide position is a part-time position in our 4/5 classes, which are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Hours are 8:15 am - 3:00pm.
The Substitute Teacher/Aide position is an as-needed, or prn position. We would contact you in the event of a planned or unplanned absence of any staff member.  You could be subbing in the 3/4 or 4/5 classes. Hours of operation for the preschool are Monday-Friday 8:15 am - 3:00 pm. We are in session from Labor Day through Memorial Day.
We follow KVSC for all breaks, delays and closings.

 A teacher's aide or substitute teacher/aide at Faith Lutheran Preschool must:
​
 Love God 
 Be warm and nurturing with children 
 Have experience working with children 
 Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development
 Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times 
 Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children alone in a classroom
 Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities
 Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs
 Assist children with activities of daily life 
 Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children 
 Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum and planning daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children
